This international school in Hangzhou is looking for a Director of Performing Arts with the following education, skills and experience:

BASIC QUALIFICATION
• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Desirable: Evidence of additional training and commitment to further professional development. Recognised qualification in performing art.
• A passion for delivering high-quality learning in both areas.

EXPERIENCE
The teacher should have experience of:
Producing whole school events.

In addition, the teacher might have experience of:
Working in a bilingual school.
Working outside of the UK as a class teacher.
Working in partnership with parents.

EXPERTISE
Actively promote and demonstrate the school’s ethos, values and aims positively.
Be proficient in playing a classroom-appropriate musical instrument.
Use effective strategies to monitor motivation and morale.
Develop good personal relationships within a team.
Establish and develop close relationships with parents and the community.
Communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) to a variety of audiences.
To attend out-of-hours events.
Work with other adults in the classroom in planning and delivering high-quality learning.

Learning is based on the UK National Curriculum and delivered in a way that is consistent with the school's ethos.
