We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Primary or Secondary School Teacher to join a to lead the STEM programme across the school. You will be a key leader in the school with the opportunity to envision and develop a rich and varied programme.
A new British independent school in Lagos, Nigeria and West Africa launched in September 2024 and continues to look for teachers to join the team of this exciting new school that will bring British education to the heart of Nigeria. The school represents the single biggest private sector investment in education in Nigeria and will have world class facilities unmatched in the region. The first phase of this new school's campus opened in September 2024 with the opening of the Primary School and Years 1 to 6. Phase 2 opens with the Secondary School in September 2025 for Years 7, 8 and 9; Years 10 and 12 will be added in September 2026. The school will continue to grow to accommodate up to 1500 students from Year 1 to Year 13. They offer weekly and termly boarding and all staff will play a role in the boarding programme.
Requirements:
- B'ed or PGCE for Primary from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or Canada
- English National Curriculum or IPC experience preferred
-5 or more years of consistent experience teaching in an international school or state school using the IPC or one of the national curricula above, 2 years experience as STEM or STEAM coordinator or related. For this role, secondary or middle school STEAM leaders will be considered as long as they are comfortable working at Primary level.
