This purpose built, established international school near Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced and qualified EAL Teacher to implement and deliver high quality teaching and pastoral support to EAL students which provides students with the language and skills needed to access a mainstream curriculum and the opportunity to achieve their individual potential, whilst guaranteeing internal and external quality standard.

The school offer a broad and innovative curriculum from Early Years to IGCSE, based on a combination of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge International Curriculum and the National Curriculum for England and Wales. Many of the students are multilingual and as a result a specialist programme of English as an Additional Language is offered to students who are new to English.

They are seeking applications from candidates who meet the following requirements:
•Possess at least a Degree in related field / etc
• At least 3 years’ experience in related field (experience working in an International School environment is desired (yet not essential)
•Able to work independently and as a team
•Must be able to support the aims and ethos of the School
•Have teaching experience of teaching young students
•Polished communications skills in both verbal and written English
•Have a clear spoken voice and communicate effectively to meet the needs of the students
•Exemplary written communication skills
•The ability to prioritise tasks, to work accurately and to work under pressure
•Trustworthy, dependable and possess an understanding of the need to be discrete
•Self-motivated and proactive
•Organised and flexible
