We are looking for a Middle School Speech and Debate Teacher to join a brand new bilingual school that opened in August 2024 in Shenzhen. This is for an August 2025 start.
The Speech and Debate program fosters intellectual growth, enhanced public speaking abilities, and critical thinking in our students. As a Speech & Debate teacher, you plan and implement a competitive program, guiding students in Grades 7 to 12 to reach their maximum potential in public speaking and competitive forensics. You prepare students across three genres—debate, limited preparation, and public speaking—for success in both regional and international tournaments.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject (many teachers at this school hold multiple advanced degrees in their field. For Elementary and Early Education positions, a degree in this or related field is acceptable and/or encouraged). They should also have a minimum of two years teaching experience as the lead teacher of record in a classroom (this is a requirement to obtain a working visa), an eagerness and willingness to collaborate with and elevate teaching colleagues, and high academic standards and a desire to make a difference in the rigor of international education.

- Shenzhen is one of the most populous cities in China. It is situated in Guangdong Province adjacent to Hong Kong.
