An energised crew of experienced teachers are needed for the next academic year. British teachers with experience of the UK National Curriculum of England and Wales are the preferred choice of recruitment although other nationalities will be considered as long as their qualifications have been recognized by the UK Department of Education. Secondary teachers need to be able to deliver their subject to A-level. The school needs solid teachers who can show evidence of success in teaching gifted and talented children. Teachers who want to consider this school must appreciate that this is not a typical western expatriate school; there are many nationalities and of course most of them do not have English as a first language. Teachers must demonstrate cultural tolerance and a respect for other religions and cultures. The school needs teachers who are committed to a longer term contract and are up to date with educational practice and IT technology.

• Tax free salary in the range of KD1185 (NQT) - KD1639 per month depending on qualifications and experience.
• Annual flights, medical insurance, paid utility bills and free school transportation.
• Contracts are for one year.
• Accommodation is free and a single furnished apartment located in a block of flats either close to the school or 15-30 minutes away from the school.

This is a well established private co-educational school offering a comprehensive package of British education and extra-curricular activities to a current student population of over 3000 students from KG to Year 13. The school have been amazing through the whole process, supporting us with getting all paperwork sorted ahead of relocation through to induction. SLT are such a lovely group and they have established processes for everything so that everyone is on the same page. Everything is clear from the get go. Most organised school I've been in, in 15 years! The staff are all so warm, welcoming and supportive offering a helping hand with anything. Settling in has been made easy because of this.
