Secondary Science MYP and Physics IBDP Teacher - Johor, Malaysia - January 2025

We are looking for a well qualified and experienced secondary IB DP Physics teacher who can also teach integrated science at the grade 10 level or Environmental Systems and Societies at the IB DP level. This role is with an international school in Johor, Malaysia, starting January 2025. The school offers the Canadian school curriculum and - at secondary level - the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. The campus is one of three and was established in 2017. They follow the Southern hemisphere school calendar running from January through to December. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree related to their subject area and a recognised one year post qualification teaching certificate (such as a PGCE) recognised by the Malaysian Ministry of Education. Candidates with IB MYP and DP experience are preferred and they must have at least 2 years of post qualification teaching experience. As well as teaching their age level/subject, teachers at this school also provide non-academic services and undertake professional activities, extra-curricular activities, counselling and marketing activities.
