We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced A Level Biology Teacher to join a supportive, welcoming, and successful team. This is a certified A-Level Biology teaching position that requires you to have a recognised teaching qualification in A-Level Biology.

Please note that you must have the following qualifications to be considered:

Bachelors or Masters in Education or
Relevant degree (minimum 3-year Bachelor degree in Biology/Science) and a post-graduate qualification in education (PGCE, IPGCE, Teaching Now/Ready) and/or a teaching license from a national/state accreditation board.
This position is not open to candidates without the above qualifications.

Furthermore, we are looking for a teacher who:

Has demonstrable experience in teaching A-Level Biology for at least one full cycle (Grade 11 and 12 or equivalent) in a UK Curriculum teaching environment. Consideration will be given to teachers with subject specific teaching experience at IB Diploma level
Has a strong curiosity about learning about other cultures and working with diverse people
Has a genuine interest in the field of Biology teaching from both a pedagogical and theoretical perspective
Display an open mindset and ability to develop efficient student and parent relationships
Shows a willingness to embrace our VAS core values
Has real enthusiasm for their subject and a commitment to teaching
Believes that Biology education plays an important role in the development of students’ skills, knowledge, and understanding
Recognises the value of learning beyond the classroom in enhancing the understanding and experience of the world in which we live
Is a team player, with a ‘can do’ solution-focused attitude
Possesses outstanding communication skills and personal integrity
Can commit to a 2-year contract

This is a private school group with the national education system offering K-12 education programmes to nearly 8000 students from K through 12 to a number of campuses in Ho Chi Minh City.
