Due to continued expansion we are seeking a teacher to establish a new AP program for AP Biology starting in August 2025.
A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. In AP and Pre-AP curriculum development and instruction is essential.
Degree in related subject accompanied by a teaching qualification.
A Master’s degree or higher in a related subject is an advantage.
Familiarity with AP curriculum standards and College Board requirements and the ability to design a Scheme of Work (SOW) for the subject. Capability to design Pre-AP courses tailored to students’ abilities to prepare them for AP courses. Candidates must be able to work independently with minimum instructions.
Ability to teach entirely in English. Strong curriculum development and instructional design skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to motivate students and help them achieve academic success.

Qingdao, known as “sailboat capital” and successfully holding 2008 Olympic maritime competition activities, is situated in the southeast of Shandong Province. Eastern and southern parts face the sea, whilst the northeastern part is adjacent to Yantai city, and next to Weifang city in the west and Rizhao city to the southwest. Like most Chinese cities, Qingdao has a rapidly growing population. With regards to the climate, Qingdao has four clear seasons. In spring, the temperature is pleasant but takes longer to warm up than the inland areas. In summer, it is humid and hot with lots of rain, and in autumn, the weather is cool with plentiful rain. The winters are long and windy with low temperatures. August is the hottest month with the average temperature being about 25 degrees and the coldest month is January, with the average temperature being about -1 degrees. Shopping and transportation is convenient in Qingdao and there are many shopping malls, such as JUSCO, METRO, CARREFOUR and LOTUS.
