They are looking for a KS3 Science Teacher to join the opening team of this exciting new school that will has brought British education to the heart of Nigeria since launching in August 2024. The school represents the single biggest private sector investment in education in Nigeria and will have world class facilities unmatched in the region. Their philosophy draws on over 400 years of experience in education from their UK partner school, as one of the oldest and most prestigious independent schools in the UK.

Applicants will be delivering a tailored English national curriculum at KS3 (Years 7-9) and should be willing to contribure to extra curricular activities which will nurture students in to well rounded individuals. The school is based in Lekki - one of the safer more affluent areas of Lagos. The school can offer insight in to safety and security - which is much improved in Lagos as a whole after a lot of government investment.

Requirements:

1. 2 or more years of consistent experience teaching UK curriculum with high expectations and outcomes (must have high standards and expectations)
2. Relevant teaching qualification: Science degree and PGCE or equivalent
3. flexible, resilient and adaptable - able to work in a new school environment
4. Happy to work in a boarding school environment

Salary and Benefits:

1. Competitive salary - $50 - 60,000 USD per year (Net after tax)
