SECONDARY ENGLISH HOD FOR JANUARY 2025.

UK curriculum experience required.

A well established international school located in Cairo, accredited by the British Schools of the Middle East group and NESA, is seeking experienced, ideally British and American trained, secondary teachers for the current academic year.

The school needs applicants who offers at least 3 years of post qualifying experience to satisfy Ministerial regulations. Although the school offers both an adapted version of the British National Curriculum and a US Curriculum delivered mostly by British and American staff, applicants have to be aware that the student population comprises mostly of academically motivated and well behaved Egyptian children, this is not a typical western expatriate school.

The school offers a rewarding, exciting and supportive professional development opportunity. The school philosophy states: We believe children should be taught to be confident and establish standards of self-respect and discipline. We believe that each and every child is able to do something well and by offering a full and comprehensive education; we aim to find individual talent and help it grow. We believe in accepting children of all abilities, within the school’s ability to provide for their needs, working with them and making the best of their talents.

A comprehensive employment package is offered that includes a competitive salary, housing allowance, medical insurance, bus transportation and other benefits. Salary is from about EGP77000 per month after tax.
