All candidates should be holders of a Bachelor Degree and teaching certificate or license with excellent subject knowledge with several years of full-time teaching experience, ideally in the delivery of the components of the National Curriculum of England. They should support the school's values, have passion for teaching students, demonstrate rigorous approach in teaching different year levels and demonstrate commitment in teamwork. Experience teaching in an international school with a diverse student body and teaching faculty is a plus.

The curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England and also the IB Diploma and offers education from Pre-Kindergarten through to 18 years of age. Pupils take IGCSE and then IB Diploma examinations. The school brings together the best elements of Eastern and Western cultures and is known for their Chinese language and cultural programmes and co-Teacher/co-Principal structure.
