We are looking for an experienced Head of EAl and English Secondary to lead a high-performing team of the Department of English/EAL providing students with high quality teaching, raising the profile of English throughout the school and driving the development of English/EAL as a curriculum subject.
Candidates should meet the following key requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree with major in English and a recognised teacher qualification
• Experience in teaching EAL student in international school or bi-lingual school is preferable
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment
• Experience in strategic leadership and teamwork
• Experience of working as a Head of Department position in this subject area for at least two years
This K-12 day and boarding school opened in 2015 to provide a quality education, beginning with a bilingual Pre-Prep program using the Reggio Emilia, a Primary programme that combines key elements from the IPC, Singapore and Hong Kong curriculum, and a senior school that offers IGCSE and A-Level qualifications, enabling students to apply to top universities in the UK, USA, Australia, and Canada.
