This school in Shanghai is looking for a well-qualified, dynamic and ambitious University & Careers Guidance Counsellor to help develop the University Counseling program for primarily Years 11 – 12, to guide students and parents through the university search and application process, to teach University Counseling workshops and help lead University Boot Camp programs as well as network with admissions representatives to develop and maintain relationships with colleges.
Applicants must meet the following Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree(s) preferred) and relevant professional counseling qualifications and/or certifications in home country.
2. Experience of working in an International School or a multi-cultural setting;
3. Expertise in and a passion for your counselling and a genuine interest in working with teenagers;
4. Excellent communication skills, the ability to take the initiative and the flexibility to deal with change;
5. Enthusiasm, energy, creativity and the willingness to take risks.
