Secondary Computer Science AP Teacher - Huizhou China - August 2025

This international school is seeking an AP Computer Science Teacher to guide students to explore design strategies and methodologies, organization of data, and common algorithms, preparing them for success in AP testing. A focus on problem solving using Java is a component of the course and is further enhanced by hands-on lab experiences throughout the course.

All applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject (many teachers at this school hold multiple advanced degrees in their field), a minimum of two years teaching experience as the lead teacher of record in a classroom (this is a requirement to obtain a working visa), an eagerness and willingness to collaborate with and elevate teaching colleagues (teachers at this school come from all over the world and bring a wide variety of curricular backgrounds and experience), and high academic standards and a desire to make a difference in the rigour of international education.
