We are looking for a Secondary Chemistry Teacher for a well-respected international school in Hanoi with experience in effectively delivering high-quality instruction to a diverse group of learners at the middle school and high school levels. Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum experience is highly sought.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified and licensed teacher in relevant subject area
University degree in education or teaching
Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching in a middle school and/ or high school environment (grades 6-12)
Preferred experience working in an international school.
Advanced Placement (AP) US curriculum experience highly sought after
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Advanced level Chemistry teaching ability
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to use technology for instructional purposes and integrate it into the learning process.
Comfort with the Google Suite to enhance student learning. As a school grounded in the Christian faith, the position requires a willingness to work as part of a team, in a small, Christian-based, International school.
The school is a private, non-profit, co-educational, international day school which was founded in 2011 as a Preschool to Grade 7 institution and has annually added the next higher grade level. They follow a US based curriculum up to AP Level.
The salary and benefits package is competitive and includes housing, medical insurance and tuition for dependent children. They offer a 3 year contract (2 by negotiation).
