Requirements:

Old Cairo is steeped in history and situated on the Nile with the Giza pyramids and the Saqqara Pyramid Complex close by there is plenty of sight-seeing to do whilst New Cairo offers all the modern activities and past-times one would expect from a city this size. Temperatures can reach the high 30s during summer but then drop to a more comfortable temperature during Autumn and Spring and the winter is extremely mild with tops of about 18-20 degrees.
