Secondary Art Teacher - Huizhou China - August 2025

This international school is seeking an Art Teacher to build upon a strong foundation of visual art, incorporating different artistic mediums and techniques, history, and student displays. You emphasize how art is influenced by, and in turn influences, our culture and society. You collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance student learning by blending art content with other subjects, such as history or technology. Throughout the academic year, you organize and engage in numerous events to showcase your students’ work.

All applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject (many teachers at this school hold multiple advanced degrees in their field), a minimum of two years teaching experience as the lead teacher of record in a classroom (this is a requirement to obtain a working visa), an eagerness and willingness to collaborate with and elevate teaching colleagues (teachers at this school come from all over the world and bring a wide variety of curricular backgrounds and experience), and high academic standards and a desire to make a difference in the rigour of international education.
