Primary Humanities (Lower Primary) Teacher - Shenzhen, China - August 2025

We are looking for a Lower Primary Humanities Teacher for a brand new bilingual school that opened in August 2024 in Shenzhen. As a Humanities Subject Expert Teacher, you establish a strong foundation of language and social science skills and knowledge. This includes Language Arts topics including beginnings of reading and writing, reading comprehension, writing process, and much more. Humanities topics include world history, American history, and beginnings of geographic awareness. You also collaborate with fellow teachers to tie in lessons with what students are learning in other subjects, such as music and art.


Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject (many teachers at this school hold multiple advanced degrees in their field. For Elementary and Early Education positions, a degree in this or related field is acceptable and/or encouraged). They should also have a minimum of two years teaching experience as the lead teacher of record in a classroom (this is a requirement to obtain a working visa), an eagerness and willingness to collaborate with and elevate teaching colleagues, and high academic standards and a desire to make a difference in the rigor of international education.
