This bilingual school in Shenzhen is seeking a qualified and experienced Primary Drama Teacher to build upon a strong foundation of theater skills, diving deeper into theater vocabulary, history, technology, stage design, and movement. You guide students in storytelling—both with and without words—and performing for an audience. You emphasize theater as a form of self-expression and a tool that shapes our communities and society. You also collaborate with fellow teachers to create interdisciplinary lessons. Throughout the academic year, you organize and engage in numerous events to showcase your students’ work.
Applicants should have:
A Bachelor’s degree in your teaching subject. Many teachers hold multiple advanced degrees in their field. For Elementary and Early Education positions, a degree in this or related field is acceptable and/or encouraged.
A minimum of two years teaching experience as the lead teacher of record in a classroom. This is a requirement for you to obtain a working visa.
An eagerness and willingness to collaborate with and elevate teaching colleagues. Teachers come from all over the world and bring a wide variety of curricular backgrounds and experience. The school seek to utilize this diversity to grow and learn from each other.
