This new British branded International school, is seeking a Founding Head of Senior School to join our dynamic team ahead of opening our new senior campus in 2025. Located in vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, we blend the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam with the UK brands years of academic excellence. We offer rigorous academics, a dual-language program, and personalized care through small class sizes.
With a thriving Primary phase already in place, we’re now looking for an exceptional leader to shape the Senior School’s educational future from the ground up.
🌍 About the Role:
This pivotal role combines academic leadership, school culture building, and operational oversight. As Head of Senior School, you’ll lead the development of curriculum, policies, and a strong pastoral system while overseeing day-to-day operations. You will have the rare opportunity to shape the school's culture and programs from its inception, starting with Grades 6 and 7 in the founding year.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Establish academic systems for growth, design policies for success, and drive MYP authorization as MYP Coordinator.
• Academic Leadership: Oversee curriculum design, lead assessment practices, integrate technology, and ensure strong vertical alignment with the Primary Years Programme.
• Staff Leadership: Support recruitment, professional development, and mentoring of staff, while fostering a collaborative school culture.
• Community Building: Develop strong relationships with families, lead parent education, and support marketing and admissions for the Senior School.
• Operational Excellence: Lead extra-curricular activities, ensure effective communication with stakeholders, and manage daily school operations.

📚 What We’re Looking For:
• Qualifications: Master’s in Educational Leadership or related field (preferred), teaching qualification, and IB MYP training (preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years in teaching and leadership roles, with expertise in curriculum development, MYP framework, and ideally, start-up school experience.
• Skills: Strong leadership and team-building abilities, excellent communication, organizational skills, and cultural awareness.
