This international school in Guangzhou is looking for Early Years Teachers to join them in August 2025. There is also an IB PYP Coordinator role available for the right candidate. The Kindergarten campus was established in 2014 and is now a successful IB school and the Primary Section (which opened in 2016) is a candidate school for the IB PYP. The schools offer an inquiry-based, bi-lingual (Mandarin/English) education to local and international students.

Candidates must be a fluent English speaker with relevant teaching experience. Candidates will be required to register as an overseas teacher working in China and will need to meet the qualification requirements of a B.A / B.Ed, a PGCE/PGDE or educational qualifications at a similar or higher level. They are looking for teachers with strong literacy skills and experience working with children who are learning English as a second language. This will be a significant advantage as the majority of children in the school are EAL learners who will go to an international school for their secondary education so they need to be fluent English speakers by then. Teachers are also supported by a bilingual teaching assistant as well as a Chinese helper. Experience working with the PYP is preferred. The schools value staff who are flexible and willing to support an inquiry-based, collaborative curriculum.

Successful applicants will be employed on a 2-year contract and the package includes a competitive salary based on experience and responsibilities, annual return flights, health insurance, accommodation allowance, end of contract gratuity/bonus, work permit and visa.
