Secondary Music Head of Department - Hangzhou, China - August 2025

This international school in Hangzhou is looking for a strong Head of Secondary Music to take responsibility for the quality of teaching and learning of Music and to ensure it is of the highest standard.

BASIC QUALIFICATION
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above
Major: Music related majors
Language: Fluent English speaker
Working experience: At least 5 years of teaching experience and 2 years of leadership experience

EXPERTISE
Experience of successful academic achievement.
Experience of leading multiple projects.
Strong knowledge of the examinations within your subject.

Served by Hangzhou International Airport and also Shanghai International Airport, travel both domestically and internationally is accessible. The fast train to Shanghai takes just 50 minutes and there are also regular bus services as well. The region enjoys a subtropical climate with four distinctive seasons that include hot summers and cold winters (with occasional snow).
