A popular and prestigious international school in the Northern Emirates is seeking experienced Primary teachers to join its expanding team of passionate educators for the next academic year. If you have at least two years post qualifying experience, less will be considered for the right person, and embrace a student centred model of learning and happy to work with predominantly ESL and largely Arabic children in a setting that is distinctly multi-national and multicultural then this maybe the opportunity for you. The school needs teachers that are committed for the long term and consider this as a career enhancement opportunity.

In brief they are simply looking for good quality teachers, a mix of new and experienced educators ideally hailing from Australia offering a relevant curriculum background. Better if they are experienced in the Victoria Curriculum or have worked in a PYP setting. At this early stage of recruitment the school will most likely restrict their search to Australia and New Zealand.

In-depth professional development and the chance to work with international students are features that further enhance the attractions of a handsome tax free salary in excess of AED13000 per month, free furnished accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, free annual flights and benefits, including two free school places, extending to dependent family members.

In addition to its own unique appeal Sharjah is immediately adjacent to the vibrant city of Dubai and the great desert wilderness of the UAE peninsula, with the great Ajman beaches and the rugged east coast shores of Fujariah only short distances away. Sharjah itself is a busy and vibrant metropolis bustling with many cultures and nationalirties all exisiting together in peaceful harmony. Cost of living in terms of transport, restaurants and shopping is very cheap enabling a higher saving potential than other more obvious expatriate hot spots that tend to part you from your money much faster!
